Murmux was born from the meeting of two consuming flames: occult art and extreme music.
Founded in 2023 in the Toulouse region, the band immediately made a name for itself with its first album, “Litanies du Dragon Rouge”.
Inspired by the mysterious grimoire attributed to Antonio Venitiana del Rabina in the 16th century, this first release delivers Black Metal that is both furious and melodic, driven by sharp thrash riffs and a captivating mystical aura.
At the end of 2025, Murmux returns darker and more intense than ever with a new EP. More intimate and poetic, but still marked by rage and darkness, this new chapter explores new depths while asserting the band’s distinctive identity. With its five members, Murmux is preparing to make its incantations resonate on stage from 2026 onwards, ready to collect your souls and draw them into its darkness.
