Miss Hyde and the Jekylls est un groupe de rock alternatif atypique, originaire de l’Île de la Réunion.
D’abord en quatuor, le groupe a repris des standards du rock français et international en les modifiant en profondeur pour surprendre le public. Les premières compositions ont suivi avec des influences très diverses, miroir de la personnalité de chaque membre : Rock, punk, hard rock, stoner, métal...
Devenu power trio, chaque composition est travaillée en gardant un esprit d’antagonisme entre le calme et la rage, entre le typique et l’atypique, entre Miss « Hyde » et les « Jekylls »…. Miss Hyde and the Jekylls souhaite faire découvrir sa vision de la musique…Mais attention ! Les effets sur le cerveau sont à peine connus : En sortira t-il un monstre ou en jaillira t-il la lumière ?
Miss Hyde and the Jekylls is an unconventional alternative rock band from Réunion Island.
Originally a four-piece, the band covered French and international rock standards, reworking them extensively to surprise the audience. Their first original compositions followed, with a wide range of influences reflecting the personality of each member: rock, punk, hard rock, stoner, metal...
Now a power trio, each composition is developed while maintaining a sense of contrast between calm and rage, between the typical and the atypical, between Miss “Hyde” and the “Jekylls”... Miss Hyde and the Jekylls want to share their vision of music... But beware! Its effects on the brain are still barely known: will a monster emerge from it, or will light burst forth?
