Ancien journaliste musical freelance d’origine francilienne, Sylvain Fesson a enfin osé à 33 ans faire lui-même des chansons pour se rapprocher de ses premières amours et de son véritable désir pour la musique pop et la poésie.
Les chansons qu'il chante et confectionne en s'entourant de musiciens sont régulièrement décrites comme quelque part entre Daho et Radiohead, Bashung et Nick Cave et il avoue dans un sourire que ça lui va car c'est ce qu'il vise.
Le 18 janvier 2023, quelques jours avant de le rendre disponible en CD digipack via Ulule, il a livré sur les plateformes digitales "Origami", 3e album qui déploie tout l'enchantement vocal et pop indé qu'il a chéris ces 6 dernières années avec Vivien Pezerat.
A former freelance music journalist from the Paris region, Sylvain Fesson finally dared, at the age of 33, to make songs himself, bringing him closer to his first loves and to his true passion for pop music and poetry.
The songs he sings and creates with the help of musicians are regularly described as being somewhere between Daho and Radiohead, Bashung and Nick Cave, and he admits with a smile that this suits him, because that is what he is aiming for.
On 18 January 2023, a few days before making it available as a digipack CD through Ulule, he released “Origami” on digital platforms, his third album, which unfolds all the vocal and indie pop enchantment he had cherished over the previous six years with Vivien Pezerat.
